Hi, I'm Jan!

Hi! My name is Jan and I started to study drawing and illustration a couple of years ago. Influenced by great artists and cartoons from childhood, I love putting imaginative and playful ideas onto paper through pens and paint. What often inspires me to create is the accidental discoveries and surprises of life and the innocent imagination of children. Currently, my works are all hand-painted in watercolor. I hope my art can give some fun to the adult world, and bring something intriguing to mundane times.The works I want to show are illustrations made through whimsical ideas. The art is taken from traces of childhood and day-to-day events. I hope that through these pictures you will find some joy and inspiration.
